Packaging for Branding and Export Protection
Glavique Candleware develops custom packaging for empty candle jars, matched lids and private-label container programs. The packaging route can cover retail presentation, product identification and transport protection for candle brands, contract fillers, importers, wholesalers, packaging suppliers and retail projects.
A branded box and an export carton perform different functions. Retail packaging presents the jar and carries approved brand information. Transport packaging protects fragile containers from contact, vibration, stacking pressure and repeated handling. Both should be developed around the actual jar, lid and surface finish.
Packaging should not be finalized from a product photograph alone. Jar dimensions, unit weight, lid construction, decoration, quantity per set and shipping method are needed before the internal structure and carton size can be confirmed.
Labels and Branded Retail Boxes
Available private-label elements may include adhesive labels, barcode stickers, individual folding cartons, rigid boxes, gift boxes and printed inserts. Buyers should provide editable artwork, required dimensions, print colors, barcode data and any mandatory product information.
The box structure must allow enough space for the jar, lid and protective insert without excessive movement. Coated, matte or decorated jars may require sleeves or soft-contact materials to reduce rubbing and surface marks.
Artwork approval should confirm:
- Box dimensions and structure
- Logo and text position
- Print colors and surface finish
- Label size and application area
- Barcode readability
- Insert material and fit
- Opening and closing method
- Quantity packed per set

Protective Inserts and Carton Dividers
Glass candle jars should not be allowed to contact each other inside the carton. Depending on the jar design and finish, protective options can include paper sleeves, corrugated dividers, molded-pulp inserts, inner cartons or individual retail boxes.
The divider cell should match the jar diameter and height closely enough to limit movement without creating excessive pressure. Heavy-base, faceted and glass-lid products may require stronger separation than standard straight-sided jars.
Wood, bamboo, metal and glass lids can be packed fitted to the jar, separated within the same box or packed in dedicated inner cartons. The arrangement should be confirmed with the actual components through the lids and accessories process.
Master Cartons and Pallet Packing
The export carton specification depends on unit weight, pieces per carton, internal protection, shipment method and handling route. Final checks should cover carton dimensions, gross weight, sealing, shipping marks and packed quantity.
Pallet packing may include corner boards, top sheets, strapping and transparent stretch film. The pallet footprint and stacking pattern should be planned to limit carton overhang and movement during handling.

Packaging Sample and Bulk Approval
A packaging sample should be approved before customized bulk production. The review normally covers printed artwork, label position, box structure, insert fit, jar movement, lid arrangement and master-carton layout.
Customized packaging samples generally require around 7–15 days, depending on the structure, printing and materials. Packaging development may proceed alongside the decorated jar sample, but final fit approval should use the actual jar and lid.
Custom packaging programs commonly start around 3,000–5,000 pieces, subject to the box type, printing method and quantity per design. Packaging materials can also affect the overall production lead time.
