Coordinated Jar, Lid and Branding Development
Glavique Candleware supports candle jar projects that require matched lids, sealing components, labels and branded packaging. These options are developed for candle brands, contract fillers, importers, packaging suppliers, wholesalers and retail programs purchasing empty candle containers in commercial quantities.
Our core in-house production is glass candle jars. Wood, bamboo, metal and glass lids, as well as selected accessories, are sourced or coordinated through established supporting suppliers. Glavique manages specification confirmation, sample matching, quality checks, packing and export delivery.
Private-label support on this page refers to empty jars, lids, labels and packaging. It does not include wax filling, fragrance development, wick installation or finished scented candle production.
Lid Material Options
The lid material should be selected according to the jar style, required fit, target appearance, packaging method and project budget.
Common options include:
- Wood lids with natural grain variation
- Bamboo lids with a lighter, uniform appearance
- Metal lids in silver, gold, black or selected finishes
- Glass lids for heavier or premium vessel formats
- Silicone sealing rings where required
- Inner fitments or protective components for selected designs
Natural wood and bamboo may show acceptable differences in grain and color. Metal lids require checks for dents, scratches, edge condition and finish consistency. Glass lids should be inspected for dimensions, contact points and visible defects.
Jar Opening and Lid-Fit Confirmation
A lid should be matched to the actual jar opening rather than selected only by the stated outside diameter. The important dimensions can include the jar opening, lid inner diameter, insertion depth, sealing-ring thickness and contact position.
An unsuitable fit may cause the lid to feel loose, sit unevenly or require excessive force to remove. Natural lid materials can also respond differently to humidity and storage conditions, so the approval sample should represent the intended construction and finish.
Jar and lid samples should be checked together for:
- Opening and lid dimensions
- Centering and seating position
- Loose or overly tight fit
- Sealing-ring contact
- Surface scratches or contact marks
- Lid height and overall appearance
- Packing clearance
The basic jar dimensions should first be confirmed through the material and jar specification process.
Logo and Private-Label Details
Logo options on lids may include printing, laser engraving, embossing or selected metallic decoration, depending on the lid material and supplier capability. Each process requires a review of artwork size, detail, position and expected order quantity.
Jar branding can be coordinated with lid decoration through the custom logo and decoration process. Buyers should provide vector artwork, color references and the required logo dimensions before sampling.
Labels, barcode stickers and product-identification elements can also be developed for empty candle jar programs. All printed content should be approved before bulk production.
Packaging for Jar-and-Lid Sets
Lids can be packed fitted on the jar, separated within the same carton or packed in dedicated inner boxes. The correct method depends on lid material, finish, fit and transport risk.
Glass and coated lids may need individual separation to prevent scratching. Wood and bamboo lids should be protected from moisture and surface rubbing. Metal lids require packing that limits movement and denting.
Retail boxes, inserts, dividers, labels, master cartons and pallets can be coordinated through the custom packaging service.
MOQ, Sampling and Quotation
Standard glass jar programs usually start around 1,000–3,000 pieces. Projects involving custom lids, lid logos, labels or branded packaging commonly start around 3,000–5,000 pieces, depending on the component and quantity per SKU.
Existing samples normally take around 3–7 days. Customized jar-and-lid samples generally require about 7–15 days. Regular bulk production is usually around 25–35 days after approval, while specialized accessories or complex packaging may require longer.
For quotation, provide the jar model, opening dimensions, lid material, quantity per SKU, logo artwork, sealing requirements, labels, packaging, destination and required delivery date. Glavique can then confirm compatibility, sampling route, MOQ, inspection points and production schedule.
